About Roadpod

Revolutionising Australia's transport and logistics industries!

Our Vision & Commitments

Our goal is to revolutionise the transport and logistics industries by offering a safer, more efficient containerised system for road and rail transport. Our inspiration comes from American entrepreneur, Malcolm McLean, who developed the modern intermodal shipping container in 1956.

The Roadpod system reduces costs associated with double handing freight.

What is Roadpod?

Roadpod is a re-engineered, cost-effective containerised system for road and rail transport.

The Gold Coast-based brand was founded by Paul Harazim in 2015 after he recognised a need for safer, more efficient transport methods which would ultimately boost profits for businesses.

Taking inspiration from American transport entrepreneur, Malcolm McLean who developed the modern intermodal shipping container in the second half of the 20th century, Roadpod’s expert staff continue to design, engineer and manufacture quality containerised base frames and custom truck bodies for some of the biggest names in the industry.

How does the Roadpod system work?

Freight is packed onto pods at ground level, loaded onto the truck with a forklift and locked in place. Because goods are strapped and pre-slung by your crew with their feet on the ground, there’s no need for them to climb onto trailers.

The best part!

Roadpod is custom-designed to suit your existing fleet and plant. The patented system is compatible with any size truck: Pantech, semi-trailers and flatbed bodies, and caters for every industry’s products: Pallets, PVC pipes and building materials.

We design a solution to suit your business and your budget. And we project manage the entire process, from specifying your requirements to implementing Roadpod into your business.

Paul Harazim, Founder

“Roadpod is a bespoke container builder for road and rail transport. It’s the first true multifunctional and interchangeable truck body system on the market. Unlike traditional container builders, we have the ability to change designs and adapt to any industry requirement in any sector within days.”

Roadpod Intermodal is focused on the freight sector, providing containers for road, rail and project applications and specialising particularly in warehouse, manufacturing facilities and busy distribution centres.

Pods are safely packed at ground level and can be stored for later delivery or loaded directly onto trucks.

Save on driver downtime and reduce the risk of falls from heights with Roadpod.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many Roadpods do I need to start out with?

Most companies start with two. The idea is to remove the empty Roadpod from the truck, and load another packed pod onto it. As you scale up, the system becomes more efficient and cost-effective.

Do I need racking?

No, it’s not required. However we do recommend Roadpod rack sets because they instantly double your yard space by allowing loaded/empty pods to be stacked vertically. The racks also hold most trusses and other cargo.
